A cool antique 18K gold signet ring made in The gold ring itself dates from the early 20th century, whilst the bezel of the ring features an enamelled āgrim reaperā motif which has been added much more recently.
The Grim Reaper is a personification of death, typically depicted as a hooded figure with a skeletal form carrying a scythe or sword. The image originates from medieval Europe, where death was often depicted as a skeletal figure due to high mortality rates from wars and plagues.
