Vintage Baroque Pearl Ring
A stunning heavy vintage gold and baroque pearl ring, made in Italy.
The intricately carved, leaf-textured band is crafted in 18K yellow gold carries a baroque pearl in the centre. The shape of the pearl sits beautifully in the leafy mount, the design being reminiscent of a birds nest, or an ancient laurel crown. The underside of the bezel features a rays emanating from the centre, inspired by late 18th century ring types.
UK size K 1/2, US size 5.5 - The ring is open-ended in design, so could be adjusted easily to a few sizes
The ring weighs a very good 11.82 grams of 18K gold and is stamped for 750 (18K) gold. The ring is Italian, and probably dates from the second half of the 20th century, circa 1970’s.
The cultured baroque pearl measures 14mm x 12mm x 8mm (approx). The face of the ring measures 14mm north to south.
