





Victorian Rose Cut Garnet Ring
This lovely antique gold solitaire ring was made in France and dates to the late 19th century, circa 1880. It features a rose cut garnet (approx 2ct) which has a beautiful glow, particularly in sunlight. It is prong set with cathedral arched shoulders which help to accentuate the pointed shape of the gemstone down the ring band. The sides of the shoulders feature an engraved cross pattern which terminates about halfway down the band.
UK size K, US size 5.25
The ring weighs 1.6 grams, it is unmarked but tests as 18K gold, the garnet measures 8mm x 6mm x 4mm, band measures 2mm wide.
