Vintage Gold Ingot Necklace
A bold and beautifully substantial vintage ingot pendant necklace, fully hallmarked for London, 1977. Made from solid 9K gold, this rectangular pendant bears crisp marks including the maker’s mark MBPM, the traditional crown for gold, the 375 fineness stamp, date letter C, and the London assay office mark.
The pendant itself measures 3.5 x 1.5 x 0.3 cm, and comes with its original long 9K gold rope chain, measuring 67 cm in length—perfect for wearing at a lower, statement-making level.
The combined weight is 25.67 grams. The circular bail ring at the top, which turned the ingot into a pendant, appears to be gold-plated silver, while the ingot itself and chain are confirmed to be solid 9K gold.
