Thérèse of Lisieux Pendant

A fine French devotional pendant, c.1910, crafted in 18K gold and set with an oval mother-of-pearl plaque delicately engraved with Thérèse of Lisieux holding a cross. The carving is exceptionally refined, capturing the serene expression and quiet strength typical of early 20th-century French religious art.

The gold mount, ornamented with softly modelled roses, reflects the naturalistic lines of the Art Nouveau period. The back is plain and polished.

This pendant belongs to a group acquired from the lost stock of a historic French jewellery manufacturer specialising in religious medals and devotional pieces.
