Vintage French Gemini Pendant

A sculptural astrological pendant crafted in France during the 1940's by the artist André Pikman. Made in 800 silver, it bears the French “crab” mark for continental silver and features the Gemini zodiac sign - represented by twin figures holding a single torch.

The torch, a classical symbol of illumination and divine knowledge, reflects the intellectual and dual nature of Gemini. The twins are a reference to Castor and Pollux, the mythological brothers immortalised in the stars, known for their bond and heroic acts at sea and in battle. Their shared flame speaks to connection, communication, and curiosity - the core traits of this air sign.

Rectangular in form, the pendant measures 2 x 1.8 cm and weighs 6.64 grams. The Gemini glyph is engraved above the figures, anchoring its celestial meaning in bold relief.
